“Real life journey” program reached Hung Yen province
On March 3rd, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and AIA Vietnam co-organized the “Real life journey” event, raising funds to donate bicycles for underprivileged children in Hung Yen province.
Accordingly, through the National Fund for Children Hung Yen province, AIA Vietnam has donated 50 bikes and 50 presents worth a total of nearly VND90 million.
“With all the bikes donated to underprivileged children, we hope their long way to school will be less arduous. We believe this contribution will bring more opportunities for their education, toward a better future,” said Mr. Wayne Besant, CEO of AIA Vietnam.
In the 2014-2015 period, the initiative has offered 1,805 bicycles to needy children in 37 provinces and cities around the nation.
This year, it scheduled 12 major events from North to South, hoping to offer at least 1,071 bicycles to needy Vietnamese children./.
