(VNF) – Under a proposal to the State President on the presents for revolutionary contributors during the lunar New Year festival, the Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) suggested two groups, one worth VND400,000 each and the other worth VND200,000 each.

The VND400,000 presents are expected to be allocated to revolutionary activists before January 1st, 1945, Vietnamese heroic mothers, heroes of the people’s armed forces, heroes in resistance wars, and martyrs’ relatives who enjoy a monthly allowance.

In addition, wounded soldiers who lost from 81% of their working ability, those who assisted revolutionary activities, revolutionary activists who were exposed to toxic chemicals and lost from 81% of their working ability and enjoy a monthly allowance will also receive the presents worth VND400,000 each.

Meanwhile, the presents worth VND200,000 each are expected to be given to wounded soldiers who lost below 80% of their working ability, representatives of martyrs, those who worship martyrs, revolutionary activists who were exposed to toxic chemicals and lost below 80% of their working ability and enjoy a monthly allowance, revolutionary contributors or war resistance activists who were arrested and imprisoned by enemies and now enjoy a monthly allowance.
