On September 19, Central Bank of Timor-Leste honored “The best financial services provider, making the largest contribution to the development of the financial sector in Timor-Leste" to Telemor for its Mosan e-wallet services (Viettel's brand in this country).

This is an annual award of the Central Bank of Timor-Leste to honor companies that have made outstanding contributions to the development of the banking and finance sector in this country. In 2019, Telemor's Mosan e-wallet were chosen to win prizes from among other financial institutions such as: Portuguese Bank (BNU Portuguese Bank), East-Timor Commercial Bank (BNCTL) and ANZ Bank.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr. Abraão de Vasconselos - Governor of the Central Bank of Timor-Leste said: “We appreciate Telemor's contribution to building an extensive network and bringing convenience for people in financial services.”

At the event, Mr. Tran Van Bang - General Director of Telemor address: “By this award, we are proudly to be recognized by the Central Bank for our effort in developing and innovating for Mosan as its contribution to the development of financial sector in this country. This is a favorable condition for Mosan to take the next steps, bringing more convenient mobile financial products and services to Timorese people”.

Over 400 points of sales across the country.

Lauching in October 2018, Telemor's Mosan e-wallet is the first e-wallet provided by a telecom operator in Timor-Leste. After nearly a year, Mosan maintained a monthly subscriber growth rate of 40% and quickly developed its network as over 400 points of sales across the country - more than the total number of 5 banks branches which are operating in this country.
