Ten cakes of heroin seized in Lao Cai
Pham Son Hai, born in 1968, temporarily residing in Khanh Yen town, Van Ban district, was arrested for illegally storing drugs by Van Ban district police in Tan Thuong commune, Van Ban district, Lao Cai province on September 25th.
The police seized 10 cakes of heroin, each weighing about 300g and packed in nylon.
In addition, the police also seized more than VND21 million, a Toyota Hilux car with number plate of 24C-057.62, three mobile phones and personal papers.
Examining Hai’s house in Khanh Yen town, the police seized over VND143 million, two electronic scales and some tools to use drugs.
The Van Ban district police have transferred Hai and the case profile to the Police Department for Investment of Drug-related Crimes under the Lao Cai police to continue the investigation under their jurisdiction./.
