Tuyen Quang: Nearly 100 poor children get free eye surgery
(VNF) - Nearly 100 disadvantaged children in the mountainous province of Tuyen Quang recently received free eye screening and surgery, thank to a charitable medical care programme.

The Tuyen Quang provincial Fund for Vietnamese Children supports VND 3 million for each child-patient while Hanoi Eye Hospital 2 covers the remaining costs.
The free surgeries are provided are part of programme “For kid’s healthy vision”, sponsored by the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC), aiming to provide free eye surgery for poor child patients who suffer from vision diseases./.
