The GFCHL is collaborating with Thuan An Center for Disabled Children and Ho Chi Minh city Children Hospital 1 to trained their staffs each year since 2010 and helped to build the early intervention and audiology programs in Binh Duong and HCM city. 38 schools, clinics, and early intervention centers and two hospitals across 20 Vietnam provinces were participating. They also fit hearing aids on 100 children from low-income families.

Through the “Vietnam Deaf Education Program”, the GFCHL will continue to work with Thuan An Center for Disabled Children in Binh Duong province to diagnose children with hearing loss as early as possible and fit them with hearing aids, giving them the opportunity of developing at an appropriate rate for their age.

Additionally, they expanded their therapy coaching support for Vietnamese teachers and therapists in Da Nang province with projects worth about USD 165,000 for the period 2016-2019./.
