Vietnam – China Friendship Organization received the delegation from Global Times, China
The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations and the representatives of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association played host to a delegation of officials from the Global Times, China at the Friendship House on May 25th 2015.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Duong Quang Ha, Chairman of the Vietnam-China Friendship Organization and Mr. Thach Ninh, Deputy Chief Editor of the Global Times China introduced the delegates from both sides, which includes renowned writers and authors in China’s news business.

During the exchange, both sides discussed the state of economic development and investment incentives of both countries towards each other, mostly the opportunities for further direct investment from China to Vietnam and the increase in Vietnamese export arriving in Chinese market, especially agricultural products.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Chi of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association, an alumnus from China in the years of war against the United States, expressed his joy at greeting a delegations from the country of his alma mater and exchange information about the meaningful activities that the Vietnam-China Friendship Association has organized: student exchanges, tourism promotion, in order to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
In response, Dr. Khong Khanh Ha from the University of Beijing praised the generations of Vietnamese students as a brilliant group of academics and the prime examples of how similar China and Vietnam are in terms of history, culture language and philosophy. He also encouraged further educational cooperation as a way of bonding the two countries even more./.
