Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association meets delegation of German Communist Party
(VNF) - On October 27th, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association (VGFA) received the delegation of German Communist Party (DKP).
At the event, Vice Standing Chairman of the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association Hoang Van Huay expressed his pleasure at meeting External Secretary Gũnter Pohl and delegates of DKP.

The association has played a continually important role in boosting mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries’ peoples as well as overarching bilateral relations, Vice Chairman Huay added.
VGFA would focus on enhancing exchanges between the two countries’ delegations and organizing numerous seminars and forums on issues of common interest, affirmed Vice Chairman Huay.
He also noted that VGFA would further strengthen social security and information exchanges between the two sides and actively promote its role in encouraging German friends to support Vietnam in all fields in the time ahead.
He expressed his hope that Vietnam and Germany would continue to support each other for their common good, as well as to contribute to the stabilization, co-operation and development of the world.

Speaking at the event, the Party’s External Secretary Gũnter Pohl congratulated the association and appreciated its active endeavours to consolidate amity and cooperation between the two countries.
According to External Secretary Gũnter, the Vietnamese community in Germany now has around 100,000 people and it is evaluated by the country as a positive community which has made many contributions to the common development of Germany.
The overseas Vietnamese community in Germany is an important bridge, contributing to the good relationships between the two countries since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1975.
He affirmed that the German Communist Party would support VGFA’s activities to enhance the traditional friendship relations between the two countries./.
