Vietnam, Germany joins hand to build solar power system
Aquaone Group (Vietnam) and Aone Deusheuche Company (Germany) recently signed a Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) to reinforce cooperation in building solar power system on the rooftop of the water treatment tanks zone at the Duong River surface water plant, with power capacity of up to 10.8 MWp.
The MoU contributes to boosting cooperation, technology transfer, and sharing of experiences in the development of investment projects in the fields of economy, culture, renewable energy technology, environment and sustainable development.
The signing was witnessed by German Minister of Economy, Labor and Transport, Deputy Prime Minister of Saxony, Martin Dulig, on the occasion of his working visit to Vietnam from 17 to 24 -11.

This MoU will contribute to promoting cooperation, technology transfer and sharing experiences in developing effective investment projects in Vietnam. The memorandum affirms the strong relationship and cooperation between German and Vietnamese companies in many fields such as economics, culture, renewable energy technology, environment and sustainable development.
On this occasion, the Minister Martin Dulig and the German business delegation took time to visit the Duong River surface water plant in phase 1A and an under-construction site (phase 1B).During the visit, the delegates exchanged experiences in investment cooperation, implementing technical infrastructure projects such as water supply; wastewater and sewage sludge treatment, recycled energy and developing new technology with Aquaone Company - the investor of Duong River Water Plant Project.
This phase was carried out by the joint venture contractor Aone Deutschland AG and Strabag of Germany with the most modern technologies applied in many German cities, meeting the standards of tap drinking water according to German standards and Europe. At present, Song Duong drainage plant has operated the first phase, generating commercial water from October to 2018 with the capacity of 150,000 m3 / day. The plant is continuing to deploy phase 2 and expected to increase the capacity to 300,000 m3 / day night by October-2019.
Previously, in Leipzig, Germany, Minister Martin Dulig attended the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese House, located in the headquarter of TheAone company. Vietnamese House aims to serve as a venue to organize meetings supporting cultural and economic cooperation and exchange as well as many other social activities./.
