(VNF) - A ceremony will be held at 15h00 at the Sports Hub complex Singapore on June 2nd to hoist the national flag of Vietnam, marking the presence of the Vietnamese sport delegation to the 28th SEA Games 2015.

Head of the Vietnamese delegation Mr Tran Duc Phan, and other 33 members from gymnastics, wushu, judo and swimming teams will joint the event.

Teams of ping, billiards & snooker, boxing, tennis, canoeing, shooting and petanque are expected to be present on June 3rd.

The same day, the Vietnamese fencers will compete with rivals, hoping to bag the first gold medal for the nation. Épée fencer Nguyen Tien Nhat (born on April 5th, 1990 in Ho Chi Minh city) is a really good hope for Vietnam in the event. He is right-handed.

While artistic gymnastics players will be the latest to depart for the competition on June 10th.

The 28th Southeast Asian Games will be hosted by the city-state of Singapore, from June 5th to 16th, although the preliminary rounds of football will start a few days before the opening ceremony. About 7,000 athletes from 11 participating nations will compete in the Games./.
