Initially, there were 268 people, then increased to 319 people and now there are 203 people (21 women) in the unit.
Up to now, the level-2 field hospital No. 4 has 71 people who were selected from different units across the whole army.
The hospital focuses on learning English, military-medical, and other training courses organized by the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations in 2021. The staff of the hospital will participate in additional training courses on medical, peacekeeping, pre-deployment, and military services in the future.
Along with the level-2 field hospital, Vietnam's first sapper unit will contribute to providing humanitarian aid, helping the United Nations Peacekeeping perform their tasks, contributing to peacekeeping and national reconstruction, bringing peace to the host countries, as well as protecting the motherland.
