Vietnam to export skilled labor to choosy markets
(VNF) - The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) is drawing up an USD 57 million scheme to export about 57 000 high-skilled laborers to choosy markets.

In the first phase (2018-2020), about 17,000 skilled laborers will be sent to Germany, Japan and Korea.
In particular, well-trained health workers could be sent to Japan and Germany for guest work. Those specializing in information technology (IT), electronics, telecom, biology and agriculture will be sent to Japan. Mechanical engineers can land a job in South Korea.
In the second phase, (2020-2025), 39.395 skilled laborers will be sent oversea.
According to statistics of MOLISA, currently 500.000 Vietnamese laborers abroad send home between USD 1.7bln and 2 bln a year./.
