Vietnam Trade Union University Holds Opening Ceremony of New School Year For Over 2,500 Students

In his remark, Dr. Le Manh Hung - Rector of Trade Union University - congratulated 2,531 new students and all staff, teachers, and employees at the university.
According to the rector, the school year 2021-2022 has ended with many difficulties after the outbreak of Covid-19. So far, society has returned to a new normal state. Given such conditions, Vietnam Trade Union University actively and synchronously deployed solutions to complete the plan for a high-quality 2021-2022 school year, resulting in many successes in training, scientific research, and international cooperation.
The rector highly appreciates students' putting their faith in the university, an institute where they receive training practice, and experience and setting a start for their career. He expects the new students to quickly adapt and develop creative thinking and bravery, thereby having a serious study attitude and good academic results in the 2022-2026 school year.
The school year 2022-2023 is the first year of implementing the School Development Strategy for the 2022-2030 period, therefore, the university's leader calls on the university's officials, employees, and students to develop and uphold the tradition of solidarity, creativity, and close association to jointly realize the set goals.
In the academic year 2021-2022, Vietnam Trade Union University opened two new majors: English and Vietnamese for tourism. 1,721 bachelor's, 89 master's, and 4 doctorates graduated on time in the school year. The university also edited 36 learning materials. Regarding international cooperation, the university has negotiated and signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian Academy of Labour and Social Relations, University of Science and Technology of The Philippines. It is also completing procedures to negotiate and sign training cooperation agreements with insittues in the US, France, Canada, Germany, Australia, South Korea, and China.
