Forbes on September 30th listed the top 400 richest people in the world in 2015, including Vietnamese-American billionaire Hoang Kieu.

He ranks 149, with total assets up to USD3.7 billion. Mr. Hoang Kieu is famous with the brand of Hoang Kieu Winery, specializing in the field of wine. He also does business in various fields from handbags, cosmetics and food supplements.

Mr. Hoang Kieu was born in 1944 in Quang Tri province. He went to the US in 1975 and started his career at the Abbott company.

In 1980, he founded the Rare Antibody Antigen Supply company, which specialized in plasma test facilities (components of blood) in the US. In 1987, he became a partner of a center specializing in blood in Shanghai, China.

In 1992, Mr. Hoang Kieu established Shanghai RAAS Blood Products, which provided blood products.

With a passion for wine, billionaire Hoang Kieu has researched and pursued to produce wine and created the brand of Hoang Kieu Winery in Napa Valley, California. He has partnered with Italian wine producers to improve the quality of his wine.
