Vietnamese American entrepreneurs desire to cooperate with domestic businesses

Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh had a meeting with many overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs during a visit to California from October 16th - 24th.

According to overseas Vietnamese, Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) promises new opportunities, they hope to expand business cooperation relations with domestic businesses under the capacity and advantages of the two sides. In spite of having different opinions, the overseas Vietnamese in the US realize the government of Vietnam is always open and honest with expatriates and work out policies, creating favorable conditions to meet their legitimate aspirations of visiting the homeland.

Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh and the overseas Vietnamese also exchanged issues such as Vietnam’s policy toward the overseas Vietnamese community, Vietnam-US relations, East Sea, opportunities and challenges of the (TPP).

Through these meetings, representatives of groups of overseas Vietnamese in the US said that they always closely follow the situation of the homeland and be excited by changes of the homeland. They realize that the country has risen in many fields, especially the Vietnam-US relations, the position the country is being improved. They hope to have opportunities to cooperate with domestic enterprises, to serve the country's development.

Concluding the meeting, Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh hoped that his visit will further promote the interest of the community in the homeland, strengthen the close relationship between the overseas Vietnamese and the homeland./.
