The Australia ASEAN Emerging Leaders Program (A2ELP) is a three-month leadership program for 15 social entrepreneurs from ASEAN and Australia to foster connections between emerging leaders across Australia and the region.
A2ELP includes a pre-program education, a ten-day intensive program in Melbourne and Sydney including workshops, field trip, cultural activities, networking events and support for implementation.
Starting from March, 2018, the program coincides with the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in Sydney where delegates will be invited to take part in activities and networking events connected to the Summit.
Apart from Melbourne, Sydney will be the other host for the program (source: travelchannel.com)
A2ELP, an Australian Government initiative and a flagship program for the Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC), is for inpiduals from 25-35 years old who have founded or co-founded of a social enterprise that generate social, environmental, or economic impact.
The program aims to equip participants with knowledge of how to scale-up a social enterprise, engage a range of stakeholders, improve their cultural intelligence and apply lean start-up methodology as well as brings them networking opportunity.
Applications deadline is 13 October 2017.
