Vietnamese students bring home 3 gold medals of Challenge for Future Mathematicians 2017
(VNF) - Representatives of Vietnam in the Challenge for Future Mathematicians 2017 (2017 CFM) recently held in Malaysia have made the country proud by achieving excellent results.
The contestants of Vietnam have brought home three gold, 11 silver, 24 bronze medals, and 10 consolation prizes.
With the outstanding achievements, the Vietnamese delegation is ranked at 4th place in the group of seventh/eighth grade students, and become the first runner-up in the group of third/fourth grade students.

The gold medalists were students of secondary schools in Hanoi: Hoang Truong Phuc from Thanh Xuan Junior Secondary School, Dang Cuong Thanh from Doan Thi Diem School, and Phan Tung Duong from Giang Vo Junior Secondary School.
Meanwhile, contestants from other primary and junior secondary schools in Hanoi were awarded with 11 silver and 24 bronze medals as well as consolation prizes.
