Vietnamese students reap four gold medals of the International Science Competition 2019
All of the 39 students representing Vietnam at the First International Science Competition 2019 (ISC 2019) have made the country proud by bringing home four gold, ten silver, 14 bronze medal and eleven consolation prizes.
Four distinguished members of the Vietnamese students team in Bogor.
The competition was held in Bogor, Indonesia for contestants of age 13-16.
The Vietnamese team included 39 students and 6 teachers of the Trung Vuong Secondary School and Ngo Si Lien Secondary School.
Remarkably, Kieu Hoang Yen from Ngo Si Lien School was ranked second in the competition.
This year, ISC consisted of two categories: Inpidual and Team.
For the inpidual contest, competitors must complete 30 Multiple-choice and eight open questions. In the team contest, students in each team were required to write codes to enable a robot to rescue an injured bear.
