Messages and profound imprints of Vietnam

During nearly 3 days of attending the G7 Summit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation attended about 40 activities, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Thereby, Vietnam contributes approaches and practical solutions.

On the topic "Toward a Peaceful, Stable and Prosperous World" the head of the Government of Vietnam emphasized three messages. The first is to ensure a peaceful and stable environment for cooperation and development, which is both an essential foundation and an ultimate destination for sustainable and prosperous development in the world, each region, and each country.

The second is to respect the law, respect the Charter of the United Nations and international law, and resolve all disputes and conflicts by peaceful means, through dialogue, negotiation, and specific commitments.

The third is sincerity, strategic trust and a sense of responsibility which are especially important to address today's global challenges.

At the meeting "Working Together to Address Multiple Crises," Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the unprecedented context requires different actions, with a global, all-people approach, upholding multilateralism.

The urgent issue is to promote and create new driving forces for growth recovery and global economic development towards a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable direction. Vietnam is committed to stepping up food production to contribute to the implementation of the Hiroshima Declaration.

With the theme "Common Endeavor for a Resilient and Sustainable Planet," Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that sustainable development, climate change response, emission reduction, and energy transition can only be achieved through a global approach.

Regarding energy security, it is necessary to ensure a balance, taking into account the conditions and levels of each country, especially a balance between clean energy transition and global energy security.

The driving force for sustainable development is human resources, science, technology and innovation. The key factor is the effective mobilization and use of resources. Vietnam, despite difficulties, is still determined to bring net emissions to zero by 2050.

Vietnam's messages, commitments and proposals are welcomed and appreciated by G7 leaders, countries and international organizations.

The nation's responsible, rich and effective activities contribute to deepening relations with partners. As a developing country, Vietnam is not overwhelmed by G7, global hot issues, the country makes practical contributions to the summit in its own way.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh together with G7 leaders and guest countries attended the session with the theme "Toward a Peaceful, Stable and Prosperous World".

The working trip of the Vietnamese delegation at the expanded G7 Summit was a great success, continuing to affirm the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification of international relations.

The event left a profound impact on Vietnam's international role, contribution and prestige, affirming that the country has an important voice in global affairs.

Participating in the expanded G7 Summit, Vietnam not only consolidates and expands relations with partners, takes advantage of resources for national development and national defense, but also recognizes important lessons on foreign affairs and international integration.
