(VNF) - Vietnamese cultural television channel NetViet – VTC10 has officially launched terrestrial digital broadcast in the US state of California, since August 1st under the system of the television station Kaza TV – one of ten units with a maximum coverage of over six million subscribers.

Under an agreement between the two parties, NETVIET – VTC10 channel is located at digital channel D5/54.5, covering the entire state of California, concentrated in Los Angeles and some neighbouring cities, serving overseas Vietnamese communities and foreign audiences.

Its programs are produced in Vietnamese with English subtitles and its broadcast framework is in line with time zones in Asia, Europe and America.

Its content is perse with programmes specializing in culture, news, general entertainment, movies, music and game shows, which have been welcomed by many overseas audiences, partners and international audiences.

So far, in addition to nationwide coverage in Vietnam, the channel is also transmitted and satellite broadcast to cover the whole globe through local television services in nearly 30 countries and territories where many Vietnamese people are living like the US, Canada, France, the Republic of Korea and Australia.

With the terrestrial digital broadcast in California, NetViet – VTC10 has made a strong landmark to become the first television channel from Vietnam to have terrestrial digital broadcast in the state, where more than 500,000 people of Vietnamese origin are living, as well as help them and those interested in Vietnam have easier access to television programmes in Vietnamese

Viewers just need a television and an antenna to receive terrestrial digital signals from the broadcasting station of KAZA TV./.
