Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (August 17): Sunny Days In The North And Central regions

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather will be sunny all around Vietnam, especially in the North and North Central regions, where the temperature can rise to 35 Celcius degree.

The Central region is still forecasted to have rain in the evening, only occurring in some places. The day is still sunny with the temperature reaching 35 degrees like the North.

The Northwest region

Sunny day, with showers and thunderstorms at night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 23-26 degrees, and some places are below 23 degrees. The highest temperature is from 32-35 degrees, and over 35 degrees in some areas.

The Northeast region

Sunny days, with showers and thunderstorms in some places during the afternoon and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 25-28 degrees and some places are below 25 degrees. The highest temperature is from 32-35 degrees, with some areas over 35 degrees.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue region

Cloudy and sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 24-27 degrees. The highest temperature is from 32-35 degrees, with some places over 35 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan region

Cloudy and sunny, especially in the north, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature is from 32-35 degrees.

Central Highlands region

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 20-23 degrees. The highest temperature is from 27-30 degrees, with some places above 31 degrees.

Hanoi

Sunny days, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the afternoon and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 26-28 degrees. The highest temperature is from 33-35 degrees, with some places over 35 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on August 17, the Ho Chi Minh City area will be cloudy and sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night.

The temperature is between 31-33 degrees in the morning and 26 – 27 degrees at night.

Da Nang

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on August 17, the Da Nang area continued to be sunny during the day, without rain at night, and showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The temperature is in the range of 33 - 35 degrees in the morning and 27 – 28 degrees at night.
