Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (January 23): Freezing And Cold Temperature In The Northern Region

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the Northern mountainous region has experienced severe cold, in some places harmful cold. Due to the influence of strong cold air, from the night of January 21, it was freezing in the North and Thanh Hoa.

A harmful cold can affect people's health, so people are advised to wear warm clothes and take care of themselves during these days.

The weather forecast in different regions

Northwest region: The weather forecast is predicted to be rainy and cloudy, with thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds are possible. Lowest temperature is from 6-9 degrees. Some places are below 2 degrees. The highest temperature is 13-16 degrees. Particularly in the Northwest region, there are places above 17 degrees.

Northeast region: The weather will be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in places. Northeast wind level 2-3. The weather is cold. During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds are possible. Lowest temperature: 9-12 degrees, with 6-9 degrees in mountainous areas. The highest temperature ranges from 12-15 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather will be cloudy and rainy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds are possible. Lowest temperature from North 11-13 degrees; South 18-21 degrees. The highest temperature from the North is 15-18 degrees; 23-26 degrees in the South.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: Cloudy and sunny during the day, with rain at night. Lowest temperature from 21-24 degrees. Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees.

The Central Highlands: Cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers at night. Lowest temperature: 16-19 degrees. Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees, some places over 31 degrees.

The Southern region: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers at night—lowest temperature from 22-25 degrees. The highest temperature ranges from 31-34 degrees, in some places above 34 degrees.

Hanoi: The weather will be cloudy and rainy, and the temperature will be freezing at night. Lowest temperature: 10-12 degrees. Highest temperature: 12-14 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with rain in some places. Northeast to east wind level 2 - 3. Lowest temperature: 22 - 25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 31 - 34 degrees Celsius, in some places above 34 degrees Celsius.
