According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, a wave of enhanced cold air spread across the North and Central regions and then affected some places in the South Central region. Northeast wind in the mainland is strong at level 3, in coastal areas at level 4-5, with gusts at level 6-7.

Due to the influence of very strong cold air, the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are extremely cold. In the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh, there are scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 20-30mm, in some places over 50mm.

Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and the South are stable with sunny days and scattered thunderstorms at night.

Northwest region: The weather will be cloudy and rainy in the early morning. In mountainous areas, there is a possibility of frost. Lowest temperature: 9-12 degrees. The highest temperature is 13-16 degrees and some places in high mountains are below 5 degrees.

Northeast region: The weather will be cloudy with light rain in the morning. In mountainous areas, there is a possibility of frost and snowfall. Lowest temperature: 7-10 degrees, 2-5 degrees in mountainous areas. Highest temperature: 10-13 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: Cloudy with light rain and extremely cold weather. Lowest temperature: North 9-12 degrees; South 14-17 degrees. Highest temperature: North 13-16 degrees; South 17-20 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: Cloudy and rainy in the early morning and at night, with locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. Lowest temperature: North 18-21 degrees; South 21-23 degrees. Highest temperature: North 22-25 degrees, South 29-32 degrees.

The Central Highlands: Cloudy and sunny during the day, with rain at night. Lowest temperature: 16-19 degrees. Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees.

The Southern region: Cloudy and sunny during the day, with rain at night. Northeast to east wind level 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees.

Hanoi: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy, with light rain in the morning and night. Level 3 northeast wind. Lowest temperature: 8-10 degrees. Highest temperature: 10-12 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area will be sunny and cold in the early morning and at night. The temperature remains stable, fluctuating between 32 - 34 degrees.
