On June 14-15, the area from Thanh Hoa to Binh Thuan had hot weather and intense heat, with the highest temperature ranging from 36 to 39 degrees, in some places, it was over 39 degrees. The lowest relative humidity is 50-55%.
The forecast center warns that hot weather in the Central region is likely to last for many days.
Due to the effects of intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas because of the increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires. In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
Note that the temperature forecast in hot weather reports and the actual outdoor temperature may differ by 2-4 degrees, or even higher depending on cushion surface conditions such as concrete, or asphalt.
