This is the first time, Vietnamese brands were considered to evaluate by Brand Finance – the UK based Brand Evaluation company. This thanks to effort from the strategic cooperation between Brand Finance and Mibrand, the leading local Brand Management Consultant company.
Annually, Brand Finance announces the values of more than 57,000 brands around the globe. Some of the top annual reports expected by marketer include Top 500 Global Brand, Top 500 Banks, Nation Brand Report… Those reports were widely published on top media sources such as BBC, CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, The Economist, and The Wallstreet Journal.
According to Mr Lai Tien Manh, Managing Director of Mibrand Vietnam, the list of top 50 Vietnamese brands on Vietnam Stock Market announced had brought a completely new point of view on how a brand should bring values to a company. So, the invisible brand value can sure be clarified clearly and specifically in terms of real money, thus raising awareness and improve brand management capability among Vietnamese manager and marketers as well.
Besides, in this early stage of Vietnam entering TPP, brand will be the key for companies to open TPP markets once the taxes are lowered. Therefore, brand management deserved to have more attentions from local businesses in the coming time./.
