1500 children educated on natural disaster risk reduction and drowning prevention

In conjunction with the Action Month for Children this year, these events aim to provide guidance for children and parents on how to keep themselves safe and provide support for others in their community to cope with natural disaster and prevent drowning.

Interesting outdoor activities for children such as drawing contest, mini version of “Ring the golden bell”, and child centered performances made the events both fun and informative for children and their communities.
“Swimming for life” project is being conducted in 3 communes of Binh Chuong, Binh Hoa and Binh My, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province, between January and Octorber, 2019. It has a total funding of VND4,3 billion aiming at building more swimming pools and delivering proper training sessions on security and swimming to benefit 2,500 children in the community.
