19th Hennessy concert in Hanoi
The Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that the 19th Hennessy concert will take place at Hanoi Opera House at 8pm on May 29th.
The US pianist Anna Polonsky and violinist Stefan Jackiw will kick off the event.
Polonsky is widely in demand as a soloist and chamber musician. She has appeared alongside many famous musicians and is regularly invited to perform chamber music at festivals throughout the world.
Jackiw began playing violin at the age of four. He is recognised as one of his generation’s most significant artists, captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique.
The concert will be broadcasted via a 500-inch-video screen at the August Revolutionary Square in Hanoi, nearby the Hanoi Opera House./.
