20th year of Harry Potter in Vietnam markes in Vietnam
(VNF) - A series of activities titled “Perfectly Magical!” are being held to mark the 20th year since the first Harry Potter book, now a bestselling series by British author J.K. Rowling, was released in Vietnam.
To celebrate this timeless milestone, The British Council Vietnam, with the support of Tre Publishing House and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the country’s largest Harry Potter fan club, will host numerous events including interactive games, trivia and drawing contests in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.
At the 9¾ station, you could “send your owl” to your beloved ones or be determined which of the four school Houses you belong most to by the Sorting hat.

It’s been 20 years since the very first tale of The Boy Who Lived was widely read. Ever since then the novel has become a firm favorite among young international and Vietnamese readers.
At the event, you will not only have the opportunity to see all editions that published by Youth Publishing House in the past twenty years, but also to join magical interactive activities with Hogwarts Vietnam.
“Perfectly Magical!” takes place on Hanoi’s 19/12 book street on May 6th-12th and HCM City’s Nguyen Van Binh street on May 13th-14th on HCM city’s Book street Nguyen Van Binh./.
