6000 Cambodians benefit from friendship cooperation between Vietnam - Cambodia border provinces
Nearly 6000 Cambodian patients have received free health care thanks to a friendship cooperation between border provinces of An Giang (Vietnam), Takeo and Kandal (Cambodia).
In the past 5 years, Vietnam – Cambodia border cooperation has contributed significantly to improving health and quality of life for Cambodians. This can be demonstrated by the fact that 6000 patients in Takeo and Kandal provinces have received free health check-up. The medicine supplied to Cambodia has a total value of over VND 500 million.

Besides, the Vietnamese side also called for donations, organizing gift giving and medical distribution for more than 4300 Cambodians.
The exchange between the two borders also contributes to enriching the cultural life, promoting the traditional identity of each ethnic group, at the same time, gradually eliminating backward customs.
In addition to improving the quality of people's lives, border cooperation also plays an important role in maintaining national security.
