On the afternoon of December 5, in Hanoi, Associate Professor, PhD. Ta Minh Tuan, Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) received and worked with Pedro De Oliveria, General Secretary of Brazil - Vietnam Friendship Association (ABRAVIET).

Pedro De Oliveria introduced his new book about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. He hoped to receive support from VASS in finding information related to Vietnamese history, the resistance war for independence, President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's foreign policy, economics, among others.

Ta Minh Tuan thanked him for his research on Vietnam. This will be a valuable source of reference material for new research on history and politics.

The two sides agree that the Institute of History and VASS will be the focal point in collaborative research activities with Brazilian partners, contributing to further strengthening academic exchanges and the exchange of scholars between the two countries in the time to come.
