(VNF) - In the opening match of AFC Champions League on February 23rd on Go Dau stadium, the defending champion V-league Becamex Binh Duong club reached a 1-1 draw with China’s Jiangsu Suning.

Chinese rival had showed all three “expensive” Brazilian stars Ramires, Alex Teixeira and Jo in the game. Sports experts even had an interesting story by comparing the transfer value between the two teams, of EUR100 million and EUR2.5 million.

The Binh Duong club quickly regained the stage, creating a lot of pressure on the other side, and finally levelled the game in the 28th minute by Golden Ball captain Anh Duc with a penalty shot after the fall of Amougou in the 16m50 area.

Having advantages in most official time of the second half, China’s Jiangsu Suning were unable to win against goalie Tan Truong, even seeing the second yellow card for Amougou in the 67th minute.

In the same timetable game of Group E, defending champion K-League 2015 Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC from the Republic of Korea earned a 2-1 victory over Japan’s Tokyo FC, temporarily topping the Group.

Binh Duong’s next struggle is the visiting game with Japan’s Tokyo FC on March 1st./.
