A flight from Bangkok arrived in Da Nang on May 25th, opening air service between the two cities.

Air route from Bangkok to Da Nang launched

The air route is operated by Thailand’s Bangkok Airways with four flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, using 138-seater Airbus 319 aircraft. Flights from Bangkok will depart at 11:00 and arrive in Da Nang at 12:35, while the return will take off at 13:35 and land at 15:15.

All passengers on the carrier’s flight at Suvarnabhumi Airport can access its own lounge with free catering services.

On this occasion, from May 25th to 28th, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center associated with the carrier to receive a delegation of 30 Thai travel agencies and press agencies to survey and promote new tourism products in Da Nang and Hoi An to the Thai market.

In 2015, international tourists to Da Nang via air reached an estimated 554,475, up nearly 70% against 2014. Aiming to meet the transport demand of tourists by air, Da Nang now has 20 direct air routes abroad which are operating effectively./.
