During the first ten months of 2024, Vietnamese ports welcomed thousands of international tourists arriving on luxurious cruise ships such as Europa, Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Millennium, Spectrum of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Crystal Symphony, Azamara Journey, Azamara Onward, Silver Moon, Resort World One, Silver Shadow, and Mein Schiff.

Saigontourist Travel Company reported that on October 25, 2024, they received over 3,000 international tourists from the Celebrity Millennium cruise ship at Chan May Port, located in Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province. This event is a segment of a voyage to explore Vietnam, where travelers can immerse themselves in the rich culture, heritage, and stunning natural scenery of central Vietnam's key locations, including Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An, as well as the dynamic areas of Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and the southwestern provinces.

On October 26, the Quantum of the Seas, with over 2,000 guests on board, arrived at Phu My port for a visit to Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
