Bulgaria’s National Day marked in HCM City

(VNF) - The 140th National Day of Bulgaria (March 3, 1878-2018) was celebrated in HCM.City on Friday. The event was jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organisations and the city's Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association of HCM City.

(VNF) - The 140th National Day of Bulgaria (March 3, 1878-2018) was celebrated in HCM.City on Friday. The event was jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organisations and the city's Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association of HCM City.

Speaking at the event, Hoang Thai Lan, President of the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association of HCM City, recalled Bulgaria’s history of national liberation 140 years ago, and extended thank to the country for its support in training thousands of Vietnamese cadres, experts and skilled workers.

On behalf of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Vietnam, Oleg Marinov, head of the Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Office in HCM City, underlined the similarities and effective cooperation between Bulgaria and Vietnam, which has been developed on the basis of mutual respect, trust and support.
