Children infected with/affected by HIV/AIDS in Ha Tinh province given presents
On the occasion of the Action Month for Mother-to-Child HIV Transmission Prevention in 2015, the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC) under the Ministry of Health, Global Fund Project on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control and the Ha Tinh provincial Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control presented 120 gifts to children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in the province.
On the occasion of the Action Month for Mother-to-Child HIV Transmission Prevention in 2015, the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC) under the Ministry of Health, Global Fund Project on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control and the Ha Tinh provincial Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control presented 120 gifts to children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in the province.
Gift presented to the children
The total worth of the gifts is VND50 million, funded by the Global Fund Project on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control.
The gifts are not big but help the children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS have more belief and strength to rise in their life.
According to the provincial Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, the province so far diagnosed 1,469 HIV/AIDS-infected people in 100% of districts and cities in the locality, including 240 women and children./.
