Chinese tourists to Nha Trang see fourfold increase
Nha Trang City in the south central province of Khanh Hoa has welcomed thousands of Chinese visitors each day, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
Each day, Cau Da Wharf receive more than 3,000 visitors, mainly Chinese to Nha Trang Bay.
Souvenir shops are always crowded with Chinese visitors.
102,000 out of 162,000 foreign visitors to the City during the February period are primarily from China, up 374% against the same period last year.
More than 20 travel operators in Nha Trang plan to set up a club specially designed for Chinese visitors.
Measures are taken to strengthen State management over the increasing numbers of Chinese tourists and prevent Chinese guides from operating illegally in the province.
