Cleft lip and cleft palate child sufferers receive free surgery
Over 150 children coming from Ho Chi Minh city and southern provinces who suffer from having a cleft lip and cleft palate were provided free surgery in a program held by Operation Smile and the Ho Chi Minh city Medicine and Pharmacy University Hospital on July 11th – 17th.

Those who suffer from the conditions potentially face a lifelong disadvantage from birth. Statistics show that one in every 500 children suffers from the condition
In 2015, Operation Smile, a community health organisation operating in 62 countries, will bring relief to 2,000 patients across the country by providing free check-ups and treatment.
Operating in Vietnam over the past 25 years and conducting 26 surgery programs annually, Operation Smile has indeed brought the smile back to some 38,000 Vietnamese children./.
