Co Thach Beach – A Mesmerizing Destination For A Spring Trip
Phan Thiet has had a reputation for the deserted and romantic beauty of beaches. Among these, the Co Thach beach is famous for its seven-colored stone beach. The beach is about 90 kilometers from Phan Thiet City and 300 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City. According to local people, the best time to see moss on the beach is around 5-6 a.m., when the tide is low, revealing the rocks beneath the surface. The moss season in Co Thach usually appears at the end of January every year and only lasts about a month. Depending on the weather and water conditions, the moss season can sometimes last longer.

How to get to Co Thach Beach
Using trains is the safest way to go from Ho Chi Minh City to Co Thach Beach. Travelers can book online tickets or connect to Saigon Railway Station for offline booking tickets. However, the train takes almost 4-5 hours to get to Co Thach Beach, and the price is quite expensive.
Riding a motorbike is a cost-effective way to get to this destination. Starting from Saigon, tourists follow the direction of National Highway 1A to the Lien Huong (Tiep Phong) junction. Turn right and go about 3km to Co Thach.
What to eat in Co Thach Beach
Co Thach is famous for food from the sea with fresh ingredients such as lobsters, crabs, oysters, fish, and so on. Thanks to the typical recipe, the courses here are different from other establishments. If tourists want to find something for a memory, they can drop in seafood markets.
