Cultural Exchange Activities Connect Japanese and Vietnamese Youth

The Vietnamese Youth Union of Dien Ban town in collaboration with the Japanese JunKo Association has organized the exchange program “Strengthen The Friendship” in 2024 with the participation of more than 50 Japanese students and the town youth members.

At the program, town youth union members and Japanese students participated in exciting and friendly exchange activities such as living at local houses, learning about Vietnam and Japan's culture and foreign languages, and performing musical performances.

Takama Yuna (Head of the Junko Association) shared their positive experience at the cross-cultural celebration. "The program is fun and meaningful. We have had the most unique experience and beautiful memories of Vietnam.”

Previously, from March 1-6, 2024, the Kisarazu Sogo High School Delegation, Kansai University delegation, and Kyoto Sangyo University delegation also visited and interacted with Agent Orange victims at the Center for Supporting Agent Orange Victims and Unfortunate Children in Da Nang City.

At the Center, teachers and students from Japanese schools and FPT University in Da Nang had cultural exchanges and worked with Agent Orange victims to make flowers, incense, garments, and vegetables. They also visited and listened to instructions on physical therapy and rehabilitation for victims of Agent Orange.
