(VNF) - President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman will pay a State-level visit to Vietnam from June 6th-8th.

The visit will be made at the invitation of President Tran Dai Quang, the Foreign Ministry announced on June 1st.

In Vietnam,President Zeman is to meet his counterpart Tran Dai Quang. This is a reciprocal presidential visit after former President Truong Tan Sang paid a visit to Prague in May 2015.

Two leaders are likely to talk about the large Vietnamese community based in the Czech Republic and about further enhancing bilateral ties in the near future.

President of the Czech Republic expected that his upcoming visit to Vietnam will produce fruitful outcomes, with economic cooperation and especially tourism development, high on the agenda of bilateral discussions.

He made the remarks while receiving the Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ho Minh Tuan in Prague on May 23rd, who came to present his credentials.

After leaving Vietnam, Czech President will visit Kazakhstan, where he is to take part in the opening of the Expo 2017 international exposition./.
