During the Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake 2025), provinces and cities nationwide have organized vibrant activities, creating a festive atmosphere and attracting large crowds of locals and tourists.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street is packed with visitors eager to admire and capture the beauty of the festive decorations.

Connected to the Flower Street, the Year of the Snake 2025 Tet Book Street Festival has also become a favorite destination. The “Tet Book Lucky Money” program, organized by the city's Department of Information and Communications, aims to spread knowledge, joy, and hope for a prosperous new year. This year, nearly 20,000 books have been prepared as "lucky gifts" for visitors who explore and purchase books at the festival.

In the northernmost province of Ha Giang, locals celebrate Tet amid cold weather. Many have visited the Martyrs Memorial at Hill 468 in Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyên district, as well as Sung Khanh Pagoda, Quan Am Pagoda, and Goddess Temple in Ha Giang City to pray for peace and happiness in the new year. In cultural tourism villages such as Nam Đam (Quan Ba district), Lo Lo Chai (Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district), and the H’Mong ethnic cultural village (Pa Vi commune, Meo Vac district), various cultural and artistic activities, along with traditional folk games, are being organized for both locals and tourists.

The province’s spiritual tourism sites have drawn large crowds: Cua Ong Temple (Cam Pha City) welcomed nearly 16,900 visitors, Cai Bau Pagoda (Van Don district) saw around 29,000 visitors, and the Yen Tu National Special Relic Site (Uong Bi City) attracted nearly 12,200 visitors.

Despite the cold and rainy weather of early spring in the Year of the Snake, thousands of tourists and locals have flocked to the historic sites of the Hue Imperial Complex to celebrate the new year, explore palaces, temples, and royal tombs, and immerse themselves in various cultural experiences to embrace the traditional Tet spirit in the ancient capital. Not only Vietnamese visitors but also international tourists from Europe, Asia, and Africa have come to witness reenactments of ancient royal ceremonies and take part in interactive activities that bring the traditional Lunar New Year to life in this historic land.

At Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park in Da Nang, this year’s festival featured the Parade of the God of Wealth along with the 12 zodiac animals. This event is part of a series of celebrations held along the route from the God of Wealth Temple to the Festival Area. Locals and tourists participating in the parade receive blessings of prosperity, happiness, luck, and wealth from the God of Wealth.
