(VNF) - Located in the immense sea, Da Dia Reef (means Sea Cliff of Stone Plates) is an extremely strange natural masterpiece, resembling huge stone blocks fleshed into round and piled neatly and steadily together in An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province.

In all over the world, besides Phu Yen, there are only other three places that have this magnificent phenomenon. These are Giant’s Causeway in Ireland, Los Órganos in Spain and Fingal’s sea cave in Fingal, Scotland.

Stones superimpose on each other tight in this space, but in other place stones pile into stretching or tilted, much like the plates overlapped each other, which created the name of Dia Rock (plate-shaped rock). (Photo: l.y.nnn__)

According to geological researchers, this unique phenomenon was formed from the volcano erupting rocks, when meeting the sea water, they became frozen and cracked in multi directions, and this forms such a particularly interesting scene. (Photo: kyoyork1)
