Da Nang: Firework displays in four locations on Tet’s eve

The central city of Da Nang will organize fireworks displays at four locations to welcome the Lunar New Year’s Eve (Tet) 2016.

The four locations will be Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, Ngu Hanh Son Stadium, Phuong Trang ground in front of the Lien Chieu district Administration Centre and a ground for fire prevention and fighting near the Hoa Vang district Administration Centre, said the Da Nang municipal People’s Committee.

The fireworks displays will last 15 minutes, starting from 24:00 of February 8th, 2016 with 2,000 high-range and 100 low-range fireworks launching platforms.

The People’s Committee asked the municipal Military Headquarters to collaborate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to prepare carefully to ensure safety during the fireworks displays for both local people and tourists./.
