Da Nang to host first international tourism fair
An international tourism fair on sea recreation and Meetings Incentives Conferences & Events (MICE) will be held in the central coastal city of Da Nang from June 24th - 26th.

This was announced in a press conference co-organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the municipal Department of Tourism on June 15th.
It aims to stimulate demand on the domestic tourism market and increase the number of foreign tourists to Vietnam in general and to the central region in particular.
The organizers reported that so far, all of 172 kiosks were registered, including 46 by 31 provinces and cities in the country. The rest were registered by tourism management agencies, airlines, hotels, resorts and travel agencies.
On the sidelines, the event will have a demand stimulus program with the attendance of 7 travel agencies, 8 hotels, 3 airlines (Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar and Vietjet Air) with 93 tours inbound and outbound. In addition, seminars to introduce the Japanese, Korean and Chinese tourism markets will be organized.
Some 7,000 commercial visitors and 10,000 foreign and domestic tourists are expected to attend the fair. This is the first time Da Nang hosts a fair of this kind, and it is planning to organize the event every two years./.
