Deputy Foreign Minister appointed as Secretary of VUFO Party's Designated Representation
(VNF) - The Central Party's Commission for Organization announced the Decision of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on appointing Nguyen Phuong Nga, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs as Secretary of the Party's designated representation of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO).
Nga was also introduced as candidate for the coming VUFO Presidential election.

According to the Decision No.939-QDNS/TW issued on November 28, 2018 by the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on appointing Nguyen Phuong Nga, Deputy Foreign Minister as Secretary of VUFO Party's designated representation and candidate for the VUFO Presidential election.
Talking about the eligibity of the diplomat, Vice Chairman of the Central Party's Commission for Organization, Ha Ban spoke about Nga as a competent, determined cadre who possesses firm political stance and always closely follow the direction and policy of the Party as well as the State's policies and laws.
"Nga is a credible and capable diplomat, whose qualification and ethics meet with the requirement of a Secretary of VUFO Party's designated representation," he said.

Based on her credibility, Ban believes that, together with other members of VUFO Party's designated representation and VUFO leaders, Nga will try her best to enhance the solidarity in VUFO as well as reinforce the collective strength of the VUFO, make the best use of her competency and enthusiasm to contribute to the implementation of the Party and State's roadmap, policy in foreign affairs and the fulfilment of VUFO's political missions.

Nguyen Phuong Nga, for her part, expressed her honor and gladness to take on the position assigned by the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee and pledged to dedicate her whole capability and enthusiasm, while learning from past generation of leaders to successfully fulfill her missons.
At the same time, she emphasized her willingness to join hands with her comrades to uphold the enthusiasm and creativity of VUFO's officials, helping VUFO overcome all challenges to complete all the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the country's people.

Nga has 30 years of experience in foreign affairs. Before joining VUFO, she was Deputy Foreign Minister and Permanent Representative of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the United Nations./.
