What are the outstanding results of the working trip of the General Secretary and President to attend the United Nations Summit of the Future, the High-level General Debate of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)’s 79th session and working sessions in the United States?

This is the first multilateral foreign trip of General Secretary and President To Lam to directly attend the United Nations General Assembly.
Through the important speeches of the General Secretary and President, we have conveyed a strong and clear message at the highest level about the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress, demonstrating Vietnam's aspirations in the era of national development, demonstrating respect and strong support for multilateralism, international law and the United Nations Charter.
At the same time, we shared our views and, together with other countries, proposed important policy directions to address global challenges.
Vietnam has continued to demonstrate and portray an image of Vietnam as peaceful, stable, friendly, dynamic, innovative, trustworthy and responsible to the international community, a country on the path of strong socio-economic development, wishing to contribute more to common tasks for peace, cooperation and development globally. All of these continue to help affirm the increasing role, position and prestige of Vietnam - a country entering an era of rising on the international arena.

We have successfully made the most of our working trip to promote relations with countries and international organizations. General Secretary and President To Lam had dozens of meetings with leaders of countries and international organizations. At the meetings, the partners all expressed their respect for Vietnam's increasing position, role and voice in the international arena, and agreed to promote comprehensive cooperation in traditional cooperation areas as well as expanding to new cooperation areas such as innovation, green technology, and digital technology.
The General Secretary and President had 27 meetings with officials, former officials of the Government, the National Assembly, the business community, friends, experts, scholars, students and Vietnamese expatriates in the United States.
Through the arrangement of the program and reception, the United States attaches great importance to the working visit of General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation. This shows that the United States respects Vietnam's political system, the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and wishes to further develop the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
On this occasion, partners and businesses of the two countries also reached many cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding in important areas, especially in the field of training high-quality human resources and investment and trade cooperation in the fields of high technology and clean energy.
What is the direction for implementing the results of the working trip?
With the United Nations, we need to continue to increase our effective participation in the activities of the United Nations and multilateral forums, demonstrate our own role and identity, through specific commitments, practical initiatives and contributions commensurate with our role and position.
In addition, we need to continue to promote the achieved results to firmly consolidate a stable and favorable foreign policy situation for building and defending the Fatherland, as well as demonstrate comprehensive and modern diplomacy on all three pillars of party diplomacy, state diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy.
We also need to continue to deepen our relations in order to maximize international support and cooperation from important partners in terms of resources, technology transfer, capacity building, green transition, and digital transformation, contributing to the country's development, as well as ensuring a peaceful and stable environment.
Regarding the United States, this visit lays a solid foundation for ministries, sectors, and localities to promote strategic, innovative, and mutually beneficial cooperation. Accordingly, in the coming time, we need to focus on the following areas:
Firstly, continue to consolidate political trust through exchanges and delegations at all levels, especially at the high level.
Secondly, promote economic, trade, and investment cooperation, a key and driving force of the bilateral relationship, creating a favorable environment for businesses of both sides.
Thirdly, elevate science and technology cooperation, a groundbreaking area of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, to new heights, prioritizing breakthroughs in emerging fields such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and green transition, along with high-quality human resource development.

Vietnam will continue to fully cooperate with the United States in searching for missing-in-action U.S. service members.
Fifthly, strengthen cooperation and make greater contributions to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean regions, emphasizing the central role of ASEAN and further promoting the ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the Mekong-U.S. Partnership, at the same time, enhance cooperation in addressing non-traditional security challenges such as climate change, cybersecurity, and water security.
Sixthly, continue to focus on dialogue, sharing, and mutual support to narrow our differences.
