General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that the overseas Vietnamese community has made important contributions to the successes of people-to-people diplomacy in the renovation process.

According to Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai, local and people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and China have been vibrant in recent years, yielding numerous positive achievements. The Ambassador expects that people-to-people exchanges will continue to be a highlight of bilateral ties and one of the driving forces for the development of the two countries' Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
