Domestic referees to call international matches

(VNF) - FIFA (International Federation of Association Football), the 111-year-old governing body of football, futsal and beach football associations , and the 62-year-old governing body of football associations in Asia and Australia (AFC - Asian Football Confederation) have appointed some domestic referees to international tours in 2016.

(VNF) - FIFA (International Federation of Association Football), the 111-year-old governing body of football, futsal and beach football associations , and the 62-year-old governing body of football associations in Asia and Australia (AFC - Asian Football Confederation) have appointed some domestic referees to international tours in 2016.

Accordingly, male referee Truong Quoc Dung will work at the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from February 2nd-21st, while male referee Nguyen Hien Triet is in charge of the second match in the qualifying round of the H group in AFC Cup 2016, to be hosted by Laos on February 24th.

Domestic referees to call international matches
Besides, male referee Vo Minh Tri and the two referee assistants, Nguyen Trung Hau and Pham Manh Long, are responsible for the second match in the qualifying round of the B group in AFC Cup 2016 between Istiklol (Tajikistan) and Al Faisaly (Jordan) on February 23rd in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).

They were all appointed by AFC.

Meanwhile, FIFA appointed female referee assistant Truong Thi Le Trinh to the Algarve Cup, a global invitational tournament for national teams in women's association football hosted by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) from February 27th to March 9th.

The tourney, held annually in the Algarve region of Portugal since 1994, is one of the most prestigious and longest-running women's international football events./.
