Dove Fund Sponsors Agent Orange Assistant Program in Hue
On February 22, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province issued Decision No. 463/QD-UBND approving the receipt of non-refundable, non-official aid for health care for project people affected by Agent Orange in A Luoi district (Thua Thien Hue) by Dove Fund (USA). The amount of fund received was worth more than VND 772 million.

The project's goal is to improve the capacity of medical staff in the field of health care for people affected by Agent Orange so that better services can be provided locally.
In particular, the project supports cancer screening capacity and palliative care for the local doctors at one hospital and 17 medical centers in A Luoi district. It will also support screening and diagnosing problems related to cancer for the local people who were affected by Agent Orange.
Another support the project will provide is the treatment for cancer patients in A Luoi district at Hue Central Hospital and palliative care methods for cancer patients at local medical facilities.
