People in An Khanh commune, Chau Thành Municipal, Ben Tre District happily received purified water from “Droplets of gratitude in 2024".

Dry season of 2023-2024 in Ben Tre province is expected to experience saltwater intrusion earlier, longer and more profoundly than in the last years. It was approximately the same level as the dry season of 2015-2016. Specifically, saline intrusion increased and peaked on the main rivers in March. 4% salinity level affects areas about 55-69 km from the main river openings; 1% salinity level affects about 70-79 km from the main river openings. Therefore, the lives of people in the region here are terribly affected.
